Pro 5.0 Grade (Kookaburra Pre-Prepared) bats will have the lowest grade of English willow that Kookaburra offers in a natural finish. The grains may not be perfectly straight, it may have some imperfections in the playing area and have some heartwood present. However, they are still cosmetically acceptable and offer great value and performance. These will be factory fitted with a clear facing.
Our Shadow collection has evolved to become a dark horse favourite in our range and is certainly not for the light-hearted. An all round-performer, the Shadow is fitted with our 4 Square grip for supreme comfort in hand. Used by true performers in the game like Peter Handscomb, the Shadow’s mid profile provides a look and feel that delivers peak performance on the field.
Kookaburra Pre-Prepared (KPP) is a process we have developed to help minimise the time between purchasing your new Kookaburra bat and taking it out to the crease. This bat has been fitted with a clear Xtra Tec sheet on the face of the bat to add extra protection. We have pressed the blade and boned the edges for extra durability. All you will need to do is apply 1-2 coats of linseed oil to the exposed areas of willow (DO NOT oil the splice joint / shoulders) to seal the natural moisture content into the willow. We still recommend starting with older balls and low speed throw downs before facing a new ball. Regardless of a bat receiving the KPP service, and any additional knocking in, it is natural for a bat the to have some surface cracks and general wear and tear after use. Knocking in does not make the piece of willow indestructible.

Standard delivery orders up to 22kg that are placed for delivery within Australia will be charged at a flat rate of $15.
Standard Delivery orders are delivered by Australia Post and should arrive within 2 to 7 business weekdays. Parcel tracking is included.
Express Delivery up to 22kg
Express delivery orders up to 22kg that are placed for delivery within Australia will be charged at a flat rate of $25.
Express Delivery orders are delivered by Australia Post and should arrive to Tasmanian locations within 1 business weekday, with a 1-3 business weekday wait expected for other areas within Australia. Parcel tracking is included.
